Are you a cook specialized in Indian Tandoor , do you know everything about Indian Tandoor Cuisine/Dishes and do you want to be part of a growing organization, then read on! You will work with us in an international team where we mainly speak English with a touch of Hindi. When you join our team, you are part of a family.

We are looking for 1 chef!

We specialize in North Indian and South Indian cuisine and Tandoor cooking. We adapt these to the wishes of the guests, such as the degree of spiciness, allergies and other special wishes. We are an international award-winning restaurant with in Rotterdam (Eendrachtsweg 27B-BE+27B-SO).

What do we ask of you:

You are at least (!!) in possession of:

1.      A chef's diploma at MBO 3 level

2.      2 years of experience (after graduation), a level 4 cook

3.      You are a legal resident of the Netherlands (or the European Union including Switzerland) and you do not need a residence permit or work permit

What do we ask of you:

•                   You don't mind working during the day, evenings and weekends

•                   Your social life is important, so fixed days/evenings (e.g. related to sports) are negotiable

•                   You have good communication skills, you work well together and you have a natural sense of responsibility.

•                   You are familiar with maintaining and working with HACCP

•                   You can process orders independently and take care of the preparatory work

•                   Preparing and serving starters / main courses / desserts

•                   Marinating of foodstuffs to be Grilled, baked, fried, deep-fried

•                   Carrying out the specialized North and South Indian cuisine and Tandoor cooking.

•                   Preparations, monitoring and checking quality and freshness, but also color and taste

•                   Good knowledge of Indian ingredients and their use in Indian Tandoor Cuisine and Tandoor equipment

•                   Hygiene is of paramount importance to you

•                   You are stress resistant and flexible when needed

•                   You are willing to live near Rotterdam (30 km radius)

·       A good salary from € 2298,64 gross per month
